Allvent ALVIFDS66 150MM Square Intumescent Fire Damper

The Allvent ALVIFDS66 ALV507 is a 150mm square intumescent fire damper designed for ventilation openings through fire-rated walls and floors. Its rigid steel-framed grille allows normal airflow through the ventilation system, while the intumescent material expands under fire conditions to form a fire-stop barrier. With up to 2 hours of fire protection and no moving parts that require operational checks, it is a practical solution for residential, commercial and multi-residential projects where fire-rated barriers must be maintained around ventilation penetrations. It can also be fitted into steel ducting for a neat, secure installation.
