Allvent ALVIFDS1212 300MM Square Intumescent Fire Damper

The Allvent ALVIFDS1212 ALV509 is a 300mm square intumescent fire damper designed for larger ventilation openings through fire-rated walls and floors. Its rigid steel-framed grille allows normal airflow through the ventilation system, while the intumescent material expands under fire conditions to create a fire-stop barrier. With up to 2 hours of fire protection and no moving parts that require operational checks, it is a practical choice for commercial, multi-residential and larger residential ventilation projects where maintaining the integrity of fire-rated construction is important. It can also be fitted into steel ducting for a secure in-line installation.
